Matte polished concrete flooring is a process whereby a slab is ground to a smooth surface and then either polished to achieve a matte finish, or sealed with a matte sealant. Matte concrete flooring is ideal for situations where you might want to create a particular mood or feeling, like a cafe, bar, or office. Matte concrete is anti-slip by nature which means that it is great for use around your pool or outdoor area. We can ensure that your matte surface is anti-slip and will discuss this with you when you get your quote.
Matte concrete is made by grinding the surface of your concrete slab and then polishing it. We can also do a matte floor with a grind and seal finish, whereby the surface of your slab is ground and buffed and then sealed with a matte appearance. Polished concrete is scratch resistant, whereas sealed concrete may need to be refreshed from time to time as it can accumulate some abrasions.
